Our approach
Whether it is a new house or a single room, the approach does not change: plan everything first, choose materials for the long term, and keep the site as considered as the work.
The five services below differ in scale and focus, not in standard. Each begins with a private consultation and moves through the same four stages: consultation, design, build and handover.
The services
Five services, described plainly.
Three describe the scale of the work: building new, rearranging what is there, or renewing it. Two describe a focus that can stand alone or sit within any of the three.

Custom Homes
Build new
Custom Homes
A new home designed around your land and the way you live, built from the foundation to the final finish. We take it from the first site visit through construction, the final walkthrough and handover.
- Site and lot review before design begins
- Design coordination and full selections
- Permits and any HOA architectural review
- Construction through to handover

Remodeling
Rearrange
Remodeling
Remodeling changes how a home is arranged: walls moved or removed, plans opened, rooms added. The aim is a house that works the way you live now, with new and existing rooms reading as one.
- Opened floor plans
- Walls moved or removed, with new beams
- Additions and second stories
- Circulation and systems reworked to suit

Renovation
Renew
Renovation
Renovation renews what is already there, within the same layout and footprint. Floors, finishes, fixtures and systems are brought up to date, and what deserves keeping is restored.
- Floors, walls, trim and millwork
- Fixtures, lighting and hardware
- Electrical, plumbing and HVAC updates
- Exterior masonry, paint, windows and doors

Kitchens & Baths
Focused scope
Kitchens & Baths
Chef’s kitchens and primary-suite bathrooms in natural stone, fine millwork and lasting fixtures. A project of its own, or part of a larger build, remodel or renovation.
- Layout, cabinetry and millwork
- Stone counters, slabs and tile
- Appliances, ventilation and plumbing fixtures
- Task, ambient and accent lighting

Outdoor Living
Focused scope
Outdoor Living
Covered patios, outdoor kitchens, pools and landscape-integrated rooms, planned as part of the house. Built for long North Texas summers and the evenings that follow them.
- Covered patios and porches
- Outdoor kitchens and pergolas
- Pools, terraces and hardscape
- Lighting and landscape edges

A guide
Which service fits your project?
Start with what changes. If you are still unsure where your project sits, that is a good first question for the consultation; many projects include a little of more than one.
Build new
Custom Homes
What changes
Everything. You begin with land, or with a house that will be taken down.
What stays
The site itself: its orientation, slope, trees and setbacks.
Choose it when
- You own a lot, or are choosing one
- The existing house is not worth keeping
- You want every room decided from the start
Rearrange
Remodeling
What changes
How the home is arranged: walls, rooms, openings and structure, and sometimes the footprint.
What stays
The address, much of the shell, and the parts of the house you value.
Choose it when
- The rooms are in the wrong places
- You want an open plan, or more space
- Walls or structure need to move
Renew
Renovation
What changes
What fills the rooms: floors, finishes, fixtures, lighting and the systems behind the walls.
What stays
The layout and the footprint.
Choose it when
- The plan works, but the home feels dated
- Floors, fixtures or systems are worn
- You want to restore character, not replace it
Focused scopes
Focused scope
Kitchens & Baths
A kitchen, a primary bath or both, planned in full. Kept in place, the work sits within renovation; if walls or plumbing move, within remodeling. It is also part of every custom home.
Focused scope
Outdoor Living
Covered patios, outdoor kitchens, pools and terraces. Built with a new home, added to an existing one, or renewed where it stands.
A simple test
If a wall, a room or the footprint changes, it is remodeling. If the layout stays and what fills it is renewed, it is renovation.
Many projects include some of each. We will help you name yours at the consultation.
Shared standards
The standards behind every project.
Principles rather than promises: the way we mean to work, whether the project is a new home, a remodel or a single room.
- Plan before buildingScope, drawings and selections are settled before work begins, so decisions are made at the table rather than on site.
- Choose for the long termStone, timber and metal are chosen for how they wear and age, and installed the way their makers intend.
- Keep the site calmA clean, contained, orderly site, and in a home that is still lived in, respect for the people living there.
- Say plainly where things standRegular, straightforward updates, with costs and changes discussed before they happen rather than after.
